The markers and graves that fill the burying yards are put to the test, having to fight not only against time but the brutal Florida heat, sun, and weather.

Fantastic sculptures, handmade markers, and even paper can be observed in these cemeteries. Hurricanes, wars, disease outbreaks, and transformation of the area itself have all come at a human cost, a cost that the Forgotten Coastline doesn’t forget.
