Author(s): Gary Priest

DESCRIPTION
Gary Priest has compiled a unique look at this Maine mountain town as it has evolved through the years since its incorporation in 1855.

He meticulously documents the history and ownership of the homes and businesses along Route Four from Greenvale to Oquossoc, revealing them as they were in the early twentieth century and comparing them to the same locations over a century later...

His diligent research has uncovered many early photographs from private family archives and other sources, which have never been made public until this time.

People who enjoy reading about the past will enjoy seeing how Rangeley looked decades ago.
