Yolanda Fleming (b. 1969, Jersey City) is a Highlands, NJ–based abstract expressionist and mixed‑media artist who “grew up on canvas.” An award‑winning, exhibiting member of the Guild of Creative Art, she creates intuitive, layered works aimed at “making the unconscious conscious.” Since 1992, her solo and group shows have featured saturated, undulating color fields accented with words, glyphs, linear motifs, sheet music, and human imagery.
