DESCRIPTION

A PHOTO JOURNAL OF THE “PROXIMITY TO POWER”, EXAMINING CHANGES AROUND THE WHITE HOUSE AND THE CAPITOL WITH A PROTEST OR TWO THROWN IN FOR GOOD MEASURE…

A new and fascinating perspective of one of the world’s greatest cities, Washington DC Through Time reveals the wonders of Washington from the days of sheep grazing on the White House’s lawn to the modern era of nuclear protests, gay causes and black pride marches.

It reveals the emerging downtown of the emerging capital captured with the emerging art of photography. It is a visit to the different neighborhoods of a city that is a collection of Circles and Squares, without having to sit in traffic. It gives a rare perspective of Georgetown, the C&O Canal, the bridges that cross over the Potomac, and even the Titanic. And it shows a collection of events unique to this seat of government and ever-changing adventure; viewed not just by its own urban dwellers, but by the rest of the country, and the rest of the world.
