This book is incredible! It shows, and talks about the lost graves, that have been weathered, and lost over time, how they have become almost one with the land they’re on.This background that goes along with them is also fascinating. Casey, has a gift for telling us the history, and stories about these people and where they’ve been laid to rest. It actually is so intriguing, that each time I drive by an old cemetery, I think of what stories those graves could tell. I highly recommend reading these books, you will not be disappointed!!
I was lucky enough to get a sneak peek of this book before it was published, and I can wholeheartedly say, you must buy it! One of my favorite author/photographers writing about one of my favorite places? Obviously a win-win! You may think you know Kauai, but I guarantee you will learn something new and experience it differently when you see it through the lens of this book.
Casey Fredette is a talented author and photographer with a unique perspective. His photography really brings the text alive, so I was very excited to discover that he has written more than one book in this series. I have already pre-ordered his new titles, and can't wait to see what comes next!
This is one book in a series of fantastic books by a very talented author/photographer! As a New Englander, I very much enjoyed seeing and learning more about my home through his unique lens.
The book is well written with great photographs of graves that would otherwise be forgotten.
