Daniel Alls was born, raised, and still lives in Shawsville, Virginia. From a young age he has had a love for all things railroading. Most of this was brought on by his late grandfather who would take him to the tracks to see trains roll by through Shawsville along the Christiansburg district. Daniel eventually picked up a camera in 2017 to start photographing the trains that would pass by his home on a daily basis. Ever since then he has gone on trips all along the eastern United States photographing trains with his girlfriend, Haley, and a group of friends.
