Eric Hammon was born and raised in the Deep South, and later ventured out West. After several years of exploring the Southwest of America, the land down under was calling. Australia became his next destination, then New Zealand a year later. He eventually settled in Asia and lived nearly a decade in Vietnam and Thailand. Fast forward more than twelve years and over sixty countries later, he found his way back to his old home, sweet home Alabama. The pandemic halted overseas traveling and a hobby emerged: hunting abandoned places. A new obsession and exploration led to a book and social media outlets displaying these pieces of forgotten history. Hammer, as most people call him, would have a new path rediscovering his home state and country after living abroad. Follow his journey @Hammer_Worldwide on Instagram and YouTube, or see hundreds of albums from all over the world at facebook.com/eric.justin.hammon.
