ABOUT THE AUTHOR(S)
Cara Marcus is a librarian, author, instructor and artist. Her published works include a photographic history book about a Boston hospital, book chapters on library management and journal articles on topics in education. She writes a monthly column on Watertown history for the Watertown Tab newspaper. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in graphic design from Rhode Island School of Design and a Master of Science in Library and Information Science from Simmons College. Cara is a member of the Watertown Art Association and the Historical Society of Watertown, and has served on local and national library advisory boards.
