DESCRIPTION
Steeped in a rich maritime history dating back to the whaling era, today’s Greenport is a lively, colorful village that celebrates its seafaring heritage while also embracing its newer status as a fun and trendy North Fork getaway destination.

Walking along its streets, you get the sense of a place that has preserved its past without sacrificing the need for growth and change. In doing so, Greenport has become a very special and unique locale that is both quaint and modern, sweetly tranquil and yet pulsating with vibrant energy at the same time.

This book celebrates Greenport's heritage in historic and contemporary images that highlight the uniqueness of this Long Island locale.
