DESCRIPTION
Agricultural fairs have played an important economic and cultural role in our nation's growth, and nowhere is this more evident than in New York, where the Mineola Fair began during the nineteenth century.

The Mineola Fair Through Time traces the colorful history of the fair from its humble beginnings through the bustling days of the early twentieth century to the present, where it proudly continues as the annual Long Island Fair held in Old Bethpage.

This book's rare vintage images and little-known facts help document the ever-popular fair as it has adapted to changing times.
